Over the course of my career I’ve predominantly used the Adobe Creative Suite to create visual communications – proposals, brochures, images, logos, icons and video. When reviewing the syllabus I saw Audition and got nervous since I didn’t know what to expect. Would there be a Pen Tool? Are any tools the same?
Well, after working through the tutorials I’ve determined that I love this program. It’s like I’ve found one of my senses I’ve been neglecting for so long. What I like most is the attention to detail required to create a smooth, coherent audio file. I can already see myself spending hours fine tuning 10 seconds of content.

Tutorial 1: Counting Out of Order
Tutorial 2: Raw Interview Audio
I’m looking forward to using Adobe Audition to create authentic and compelling stories. Time to get writing…and recording.
