From “mud slabs” to robots, the 48X Ambulatory Surgery Center is one step closer to serving the greater Sacramento community. The DPR Construction and SmithGroup design-build team topped out the UC Davis Health 48X Complex, a new four-story, 268,000-sq.-ft. ambulatory surgery center. In addition to hoisting and placing the final piece of steel, the team hosted a celebratory luncheon for construction workers, trade partners, and key stakeholders.
